Dear Guests, dear friends,I‘m from a family, which has been living in the libyan desert for generations. I love this „Garden of Allah“, as the
Tuareg people call the desert, and I know every inch of it’s
waste sands and rocks.It is my wish, to show you this country and it's beauty, which up to now has only blossom in the shadow. An unique landscape spreads from the sea to the desert: the Roman and Karthagian excavations of Leptis Magna and Sabratha, they belong to the most magnificent of the ancient world; the Mandara lakes, these world wonders spread in front of the dunes of the Erg Ubari and pulls everybody in it’s magic circle. The marvelous prehistoric paintings and engravings in the Libyan Acacus Mountains disclose a story of a time when the desert was blossoming and blooming and animals like giraffes and elephants were grazing on its waste fields.
